Whether in the human family into which we were born, or the spiritual family of God into which we both chose and were chosen; success depends on: (2) Showing sympathy for each other.
It is sometimes very difficult to summon sympathy for those with whom we are most familiar. After all, we know each other so well.
It is very helpful, in such cases, to put yourself in the other person’s place. Allow others the grace that we would claim for ourselves by right. – Luther
